Course description

After every course, our professional IKO instructors will issue an IKO license for you. This " IKO Card" is an international kite certificate stating your skill level.

Discover Course

Are you curious to know if kiteboarding is really your sport? You can have a little bite of the sport with a discover kiteboarding course. Students that decided to continue a "Full Course" after taking a "Discover Course" will only be charge the full course price.
Teaching: Wind window theory, Piloting, Basic Skills.

Basic Kite Course I

1.5 hours Theory and Trainer Kite on Land
- Wind window
- Explanation on how to steer a kite

- Positioning the kite: fly to 1, 2, 12, 11... and keep it there
- On the top fly figure 8s
- Fly sinus curves both sides left and right

- Keep the kite at 12 and turn 360 degrees
- One hand kite flying
- Fly blind

0.5 hours Set up the tubekite (Explanation of the system and safety)

2.0 hours
- Kite Control (position flying, one handed, etc)
- Adjuster Explanation
- Landing and Relaunching
- First bodydragging

Basic Kite Course II

- Bodydragging: downwind, left, right, with sinus curves, upwind
- Relaunch with a inflatable kite
- Sitting down in the water and keeping the kite at 12 o'clock
- Practicing the powerstroke
- SELF RESCUE

Basic Kite Course III

- Waterstart/boardlaunch on the simulator and drawing on the whiteboard
- Exercise in the Water
- Feedback after the first try
- Coaching

Advanced Course

This course is designed to teach you:

- Tips on upwind
- Toeside
- Unhooked riding
- Body position
- Jibe - Railey
- Right of way
- Jumps
- Unhooked backroll
- Turns
- Hooked-in tricks
- and other unhooked tricks

Private Lesson

This is a individual private lesson, to improve your ability in kiteboarding. "One on One" with one of our best IKO kite instructor. Learn to jump, board-off, backroll, or just simple turns.
